I stumbled across Precious Metal Clay(PMC), in 2003 and have been working with it ever since. What is PMC? To keep it simple, it really is just tiny particles of silver or gold mixed with an organic binder, which makes it pliable to work with - similar to the consistency of modeling clay. After firing the piece in a kiln, the organic material is burned off and all that is left is 99.9% silver or 24K gold, depending on what you are working with. There are many finishes that you can have, ranging from a mirror polish to a rustic antique look….whatever suits your fancy. Your imagination is your only limitation.

If you are interested in learning this craft, I am certified to teach and would love to share my knowledge. Please contact me to set up a private lesson or get together with friends for a group lesson.
